When you want to see a good play, there are a LOT of incredible options in Los Angeles. From the small independent theatres to the grand staples of the city. This list is devoted to exploring your dramatic side.
One of my favorite playhouses in LA, I have seen countless performances here and have never been disappointed. Recently, "Intimate Apparel", "Under My Skin", and "Snow White's Christmas" there is always true talent and seasoned actors on the stage.
While the perfect concert venue, the Bowl is also incredible for Opera and live theatre! I've seen Ray Charles, La Philharmonic, Jason Mraz, and more perform here and it's always an experience worth having.
Recently having gone to see a performance of David Sedaris' "Santaland Diaries" this is a theatre in the heart of Hollywood that houses some of the true greats. An acting school by day, the performances here are nothing short of quality!
Sure it's a small theatre but this is where some of the funniest actors have been born. Complete improv, everyone from Will Farrel to Lily Tomlin have come here to learn and perform.
Always alive with music, ballet, musicals, or plays, the Disney Music all is not only extraordinary to look at but home to the Philharmonic and some of the most extraordinary dance groups in LA.
