Best of the Best: The Ferry Building

The interior is a sight: gorgeous open kitchen with copper pots and pans lining the hoods. All of the food here is fresh, delicious and keeping with San Franciscan tradition, very seasonal. And their case of baked goods will leave your mouth agape--every tart and slice of cake is beautifully crafted.

This isn't your traditional ramen. The menu changes but on this particular trip the ramen was topped with loads of bottarga, schmaltz and a heavy hand of black pepper. Seek this out on cold days. You won't regret it!
