I love a good breakfast hangout where you can grab your pancakes and eggs and chill by yourself or with friends. Here are my favorite spots in Austin for my own little breakfast club.
Looking for a low-key, small-town cafe in bustling Austin? Try Red River Cafe, right on the outskirts of UT's campus. And it's actually 1 block west of Red River, on Medical Arts Parkway! I love this place for its classic American breakfast, and the giant eggs on the building of course.
Kerbey was our go-to college breakfast spot. And lunch too! Gingerbread pancakes for breakfast and kerbey queso for lunch or dinner were and still are staple picks for me. And I love the new look of the Guadalupe location -- it's refreshing and a nice change!
I'm happy to say The Omelettry is everything we love about Waffle House in a friendly neighborhood diner environment. Real food, real people and cash only.
A chill spot. Good vibes and coffee. Great art shows and performances here and there too.
Cute little midtown bistro serving delicious brunch and baked goodies. Weekend mimosas are a steal, & I adore the garden patio for an intimate supper or brunch.
