Get out your sparklers as the 4th of July holiday is here and it's a bang of a holiday. There's an explosion of great places to celebrate and gaze at fantastic fireworks. So pull up your lawn chair--or seat at the ballpark--for our favorite pyrotechnic affairs.

Art Deco and fireworks fans will ignite with excitement on the Fourth this year at Fair Park where the largest collection of Art Deco buildings, art and sculpture are found. Live music, museum tours and food are all part of the build up to the Grucci-designed fireworks show that can be seen from any seat in the renovated Cotton Bowl; WRR 101.1 will broadcast music to put a beat to the show appropriately called Dallas Booms.

Grand Prairie has a grand Fourth of July celebration with live races and fireworks--all at the race tracks both on the Third and the Fourth. Enjoy the 20-minute fireworks show choreographed to patriotic tunes from KVIL and KPLX.
