If your posse can't come to terms on a single scene, this Asian-themed nightclub may be veto-proof. The music, vibe and specialty drink selections vary from bar to bar within this oasis of South Beach partying. Just keep moving until all of your friends heads are nodding in agreement.
There are several components to the nightclub complex at this tony South Beach resort. You probably want to start at Rumbar, a poolside bar that specializes in stocking 75 varieties of rum. From there you can head off to other intimate hangouts like the crimson red lounge with plenty of plush sitting areas or the outdoor garden bar. You're playing plenty for valet parking on the beach, so you may as well milk it.
You don't need to stay at one of the beach's hippest resorts to party like a rock star. This cool scene is loaded with pool bars and indoor lounges. You'll want to charge it all to your room, until you realize that you're spending the night somewhere else.
With a late-night menu and swank scene, the Delano's stylishly casual eatery will satisfy any end of the night craving. If you're looking to switch colors, go from blue to red by heading out to the hotel's Rose Bar lounge. Don't be surprised if you see celebrities sipping mojitos a few tables away.
This is the antidote to the SoBe pretentiousness. Your group won't have to work any velvet rope politics or even pay a cover charge to get in. This is the hidden watering hole that tourists don't know about. They keep it to themselves to keep the drinks strong and the prices low.
True to its globetrotting name, you can order up Japanese seafood rolls and wash it down with some potent South American cocktails like caipirinha or a mora negra. The signature samba juice will power you up with watermelon infused rum and enough tropical juices to make a smoothie blender blush. You're also on Lincoln Road, so just follow the pedestrians when you're done to find your next adventure.
If you really want to live it up at this boutique hotel, reserving a cabana at night is the way to go. The pool swimmers will have long toweled off and gone upstairs, but the drinks will still flow freely as the beachside bonfire blazes away at a distance. If you need some air-conditioned shelter, just head back inside and get the martini shakers going at the perfect throwback bar for classic cocktails.
Cindy Hutson's hub of Floribbean cuisine has passed the test of time, as many of its neighboring tenants have gone through several costume changes. This tropical eatery offers a menu as colorful as its surroundings. If you time your outing just right, you may be treated to live jazz or drink specials.
Step inside, and you'll feel like you just stepped outside. The faux grass turf will have you questioning your whereabouts before you and the girls get through the first round of drinks. The erotic cuisine, exotic Eastern atmosphere and saucy decor may have you feeling like you're part of a harem, but your group will be the one calling the shots this time around.
How's the weather? This authentic Italian eatery has plenty of seating space indoors, though the outside eating area is the place to be on nice days. You can admire the three floors of Merrick Park boutiques that surround you. If your credit cards are maxed out, the rippling serenity of nearby fountains will help calm you down.
