Stop by the poolside lounge at the Sheraton (locals welcome!) for a sip of the "Pineapple Sunset," a blend of Malibu, Bacardi, Myer's, Captain Morgan and Bacardi 151 rums with fresh pineapple juice and pi?a colada mix served aflame in a real pineapple shell. And be sure to bring your buddies, 'cause this is one potent taste of summer that quenches the thirst of at least 3-4 people.
We love the friendly 'tenders at Cowboy Star's intimate cocktail bar ... especially when they're making the wagon wheel gimlet. Crisp and cool, it's made with vodka, simple syrup, diced cucumber and lots of lime. Shaken together with ice, and served in a martini glass, it's the perfect summer cocktail.
The white sangria at Wet Stone is a tad more crisp, a bit more tart than the traditional red version. And with slices of citrus and other seasonal fruits floating freely, it's the perfect libation for an after-work drinks session this summer.
We love the Starlite Mule anytime of the year, but the cold, crisp, tart flavors make it extra special during the summer. Starlite's master mixologists mix Rain organic vodka, ginger beer, lime and Angostura bitters and serve it up in a rustic, oh-so-cool copper mug.
