The Miami Heat wants to sign Dwyane Wade to a contract extension this summer, before its marquee player has a chance to bolt by the end of the upcoming NBA season. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

The annual Zo's Summer Groove took place at the Seminole indians' magnetic casino hotel this month. When Wade wasn't serving as the charity event's co-host alongside Alonzo Mourning, he was tweeting away at the pool. Sure, this is also the same place where Anna Nicole Smith passed away, but don't go suggesting to Wade that the place is haunted.

Prime 112 Restaurant

When good friend and NBA MVP LeBron James was in town last year, D-Wade took "King James" to the hippest chophouse in town. The modern steakhouse is a celebrity magnet in South Beach, with its stiff-priced menu vetting out the big spenders. It's like a VIP dining room without the velvet rope or the bouncer.

When Wade turned 26 last year, he squared away a few tables for 20 of his family members and friends to celebrate at this Italian restaurant. Yes, comedic actor Danny DeVito is one of the owners. The Miami Herald reported that a Canadian tourist was so star struck that he offered to pay half of the $4,550 tab. Do the math. It must have been quite the party.

Walk past the check-in counter and you'll find the biggest shoes you'll ever see, locked away in a glass display case. The autographed bowling shoes were worn by Shaquille O'Neal, when Wade joined his mammoth-sized teammate for an outing while Shaw was still a member of the Heat. Every town has its bowling alleys, but few have the cool vibe, fluorescent pins and full dining menu that this attraction offers.

The Forge

Last year's wrap-up dinner for Zo's Summer Groove found #3 living large at one of Miami Beach's oldest fine dining institutions. If you're going to entertain it helps to have a wine cellar, a throwback bar, and an adjacent nightclub. This nightlife mainstay has it all.
