This elegant steakhouse on showy Ocean Drive defies its brethren with its light, airy, bistro-like decor, but it's just as serious about its steaks. The kitchen flashes prime cuts into a 1,700-degree broiler, then cools them with herbed butter. Yum.
This place lives up to its name, as premium burgers and 100 varieties of international brews crowd the menu. Scene cravers order The Mother Burger, weighing in at a whopping 10 pounds. It is hacked into portions with a saw, tableside.
The iconic Parisian eatery with the same name now has has an Art Deco home in South Beach. The Belle Epoque design brightens up the brasserie with formal European furnishings and the menu is so authentically French that a passport stamp may be in order.
