Adults and teens who live for terror are welcomed Sept. 23 through Oct. 31 at this well-known Austin haunted house. It was named the 'spookiest haunted house in the nation? by ABC's Good Morning America. Enter only if you can handle some serious horror. Tickets start at $19.99.


Whole Foods Market

The downtown flagship store is hosting a family-friendly pumpkin party on Oct. 29 and 30 from 12pm to 3pm. Capture a photo of your young one amid the mounds of pumpkins outside the store, then come inside for nutritious and delicious ideas on how to prepare all things pumpkin. The family-friendly event is free.


Sixth Street

This infamous area in downtown Austin is known for its overabundance of bars and clubs lining the streets. On Halloween the street is closed off to traffic making for one big multi-block party. Stroll from bar to bar in your scariest or sexiest garb--anything goes. This is an adult-only event for those 21 and up.
