It's hard to believe, but on Friday and Saturday nights after 10pm, this hip downtown tapas bar offers a late-night happy-hour menu that's so super cheap it's addictive. Get homemade sangrias, flatbread, croquettas, sandwiches and more for under $3 each. Honest.
This sake brewery specializes in super cheap small plates, like dumplings, skewers and noodle and rice dishes that are as cheap as five bucks. And Sunday through Thursday, until 6pm and again at 11pm till close, you can get snacks like steamed buns (with chicken, pork or mock duck) for $3 apiece.
From 4pm-6pm Monday through Friday and again at 10pm on weeknights, this buzzed-about downtown tequila bar offers extra-cheap happy hour specials on its already-cheap small plates. You can get Barrio's raved-about tacos for less than three bucks apiece. And even during regular hours, Barrio's selection of small plates won't cost much more than eight bucks.
This beloved Mediterranean restaurant serves small plates like a mini lamb BLT, veggie paella croquettes and a big plate of parsley fries for only $3.50 apiece during its happy hour from 4pm to 6pm and again after 10pm. Specialty cocktails and wines are only $5, too.
Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, lucky diners take to the bar at this fancy French restaurant run by award-winning chef Vincent to nosh on delicious small plates like chicken liver pate, tartine and flatbread for $4 apiece.
