Facebook Poll: Atlanta's Best Coffee

While we here at Citysearch consider ourselves to have better-than-average, sneaky insider taste, we also realize that it's fun to see and hear a variety of opinions on a given topic--especially when that topic deals with opinions on food and drink. Coffee isn't as buzzy as the recent pizza or burger trends, but it's an important topic to tackle. So, we asked our Facebook fans to give us their scoop on the best coffee. Here's their take, and ours, too. (photo: Cafe Intermezzo)

OCTANE: ?I love Octane West because it's THE place that all my various business contacts actually want to go to. Everyone feeds off everyone else's vibe.?

DANNEMANS: ?Because Kate and company make the best salted caramel latte called the Barrack Attack.? (Editor's note: We questioned this salted coffee situation but were quickly put in our place upon first sip. It's fabulous.)

KAVARNA: ?Kavarna Coffee in Oakhurst. Support local art, local live music at night, great for 'work from home' days and the first time I went in they were playing 'The Gloria Record.' How could I not keep going back??

AURORA in Virginia Highland: ?Aurora Coffee on N. Highland is the best independent coffee shop in town. Staff's cool and attentive. Java and brefix snax are great. Local art-crowd yucking it up when you're cranky on the way to work....not so much.?
