Dining Options near the Austin Convention Center

Home Slice Pizza

1415 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704

Come here for New York-style pizza as good (some say better), than the original. The atmosphere is lively and their outdoor patio serves as a live music venue during SXSW.

Wahoo's Fish Taco

509-A Rio Grande St, Austin, TX 78701

These are Baja, California-style clean, healthy tacos you can wash down with a Mexican Bulldog--a frozen margarita with an El Sol beer injected into it. Or choose from a locally-made Dripping Springs Vodka infusion.

Guero's

1412 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704

Situated just a stone's throw from the happening Hotel San Jose, which hosts the SX San Jose music event. Order the tacos al pastor and a hand-shaken house margarita.

Haddingtons

601 W 6th St, Austin, TX 78701

Located downtown in the heart of things, this is an American Tavern with British influences that is a perfect pre- or post-show dining stop.

24 Diner

W 6th St & N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78703

Open 24 hours, this is the place for comfort food to cure for what ails you after a night on the town.

Max's Wine Dive

207 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701

What could be better than a glass of wine or champagne paired with comfort food in a casual setting? Even better: this is right around the corner from the Convention Center.

Four Seasons-Austin

98 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701

Two words: celebrity sightings. Two more: Lobby Lounge. The view from the lounge overlook Lady Bird Lake and is worth checking out.
