PB&J in Los Angeles

La Vida

1448 N Gower St, Los Angeles, CA 90028

Executive Chef Joseph Panarallo and Pasty Chef Jose Detes created a special PB&J dessert together at this sceney new spot on Sunset. Picture a creamy peanut butter mouse topped with strawberry sorbet on top (dish pictured above). A housemade berry coulis sauce drizzled on the side is the proverbial icing on the cake for one of our top new desserts in town.

Sweet Love Hangover

6506 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028

This small Hollywood hideaway (attached to and affiliated with Playhouse nightclub) serves up a gooey and delicious grilled PB&J stuffed with caramelized bananas for just $6.50. Served with fries (!) and on white bread, naturally.

Joan's On Third

8350 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90048

While not technically a sandwich, we are including Joan's PB&J treat because it's just that good. Gooey peanut mixed with a micro-thin layer of raspberry jam and chopped peanuts all conspire to win over your tastebuds with this new twist on the old-school favorite.

LA Mill

1638 Silver Lake Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026

Hold the jelly, bcause this update on the classic PB&J is a hit with coffee-sipping sophisticates in Silver Lake. Peanut butter, banana and dark chocolate served with cold Madagascar vanilla milk taste oh-so-good any day of the week.
