Eco-Eating in Atlanta

Arden's Garden

1117 Euclid Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

Not only does Arden's Garden offer deliciously fresh smoothies and juice concoctions, but they have vegan-friendly snacks. Bonus points go to Miss Arden, one of Atlanta's locals.

Soul Vegetarian No Two

652 N Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306

Only Atlanta could come up with a super-popular vegan-friendly restaurant that serves down-South soul food. Not surprisingly, Atlanta's coolest son, Andre 3000 of Outkast fame, frequents the place.

R. Thomas Deluxe Grill

1812 Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309

Late-night chow hounds are all about some R.Thomas Deluxe, especially those who are into boozing before slamming some good-for-you vegetarian grub. Besides, the guy who started R.Thomas is appropriately an avid gardener and bird-watcher.

L'Thai Organic Cuisine & Wine Bar

4880 Lawrenceville Hwy Ste 14-15, Tucker, GA 30084

L'Thai steps up big in the organic-food scene, offering all their dishes to come with vegan-friendly tofu as a sub. Our readers obviously like this place; they've won six Best of Citysearch awards over the last three years.

Sevananda Natural Foods

467 Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

This hippie-dippy co-op sells organic and natural everything: produce, juices, vitamins, dairy products, frozen foods, cosmetics and more. Of course, it's perfectly situated in the artistic community of Little Five Points.
