Best outdoor drinking spots in Mid City and Hollywood

Prado's Restaurant

244 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004

Prado is definitely way more than an outdoor drinking hot spot, but it is also reason enough to check it out! Sitting outside on the sidewalk is the way to go to people watch and sip on their fantastic Mangorita or Sangria! While you're there make sure you try some of the Empanadas for an appetizer! The prices are very reasonable and the location is in walking distance from many apartments and homes in the area, which after a few Mangoritas is a good thing.

Farmer's Daughter Hotel

115 S Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036

This is the perfect location to relax with friends for Happy Hour and beyond after a long work week. I went last Friday night with a group of work friends and we had a reservation to sit outside underneath the heat lamps and it was perfect! The location is right on Fairfax near the Grove and CBS, so if you don't want to Valet park you can park at The Grove and walk over. They have a wide drink selection ranging from beer to Blueberry Mojitos so something for every taste. The prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for, the drinks are heaven! Make sure to try some of their Southern comfort food appetizers while you are drinking. Tart is cozy and a great after work locale.

Saddle Ranch Chop House

8371 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Don't get me wrong Saddle Ranch has a lot going on inside with the mechanical bull, but on a nice night you can take your enormous drinks outside and get just as rowdy with friends. They have heated lamps outside and it's also a great place for a bridal shower. They have a great appetizer sampler that tastes oh so good when you are sipping on drinks.

Cat N' Fiddle

6530 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028

This has to be one of my favorite outdoor drinking spots in all of Los Angeles! We've been here on New Years Eve and other occasions and it was such a blast to hang out with everyone in their courtyard with our drinks. They have a late night Happy Hour where drinks are only 3.50 from 10-11 which in LA is really really cheap! It's a great place to people watch since the courtyard fits a large crowd. There are also bands that come to play so that's yet another reason to come and drink. Definitely check this place out, prices are fair and it is right in the center of Hollywood.
