Grand, indeed. From horseback riding and tennis to the 50,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor waterpark, a weekend just doesn't seem like enough time to experience all this resort has to offer. It's only a few miles from all the action of downtown Lake Geneva, but it still feels exclusive.
From world-famous golf to a first-class spa, Kohler has all the bases covered. This understated town in Wisconsin seems a world away, which is definitely a good thing. Enjoy fine dining, shopping and a tour of the Kohler Design Center to cap off the weekend.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the touristy Wisconsin Dells, you'll find this lovely getaway resort smack dab in the middle of a forest. Complete with infinity pools and huge, beautifully decorated rooms, you'll leave feeling completely renewed. Plus, downtown Dells is just a few miles away if you're in the mood for some action.
A little more than an hour's drive, the Harbor Grand, in Michigan's adorable town of New Buffalo, offers a low-key stay in a boutique setting. Pack a picnic, head to the shores of Lake Michigan for some sun, and don't forget to stop for an ice cream treat in the late afternoon.
Many people flock to this getaway town in winter for skiing, but the Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa, with its sprawling golf courses and serene setting, is a great pick for a few days of laying low and enjoying the outdoors in any season.
