Vintage Stores in Houston

Retropolis

321 W 19th St, Houston, TX 77008

The two levels of both men's and women's clothing curated from the 30s to the 80s are a goldmine for stylish, young hipsters. Prices range from high to low but a little digging will always yields worthwhile purchases from kiss clasp purses to the perfect cowboy boots.

Replay

373 W 19th St, Houston, TX 77008

Also in the Heights along 19th street, Replay is a great place to search for vintage prints both cheesy and classy. There are lots of women's accessories to be found, like cowboy boots and various bright colored baubles, and the staff is very friendly.

Guild Shop

2009 Dunlavy St, Houston, TX 77006

This non-profit resale shop is an antique in itself, having been around since 1962, and a local favorite vintage shop in Houston. The inside is a maze of rooms, all crammed with curious objects. The most robust department is home goods and furniture but a few nice consignment clothing items and a case of glittering costume jewelry can be found as well.

Cheeky Vintage

2134 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77098

It's not quite so much about digging at this cheerful vintage boutique, and it's certainly not about thrift. The beautiful, well-maintained pieces that line the walls of Cheeky Vintage will set you back a few hundred dollars but you'll come out looking as chic as Audrey Hepburn.

That 70's Shop

1722 California St, Houston, TX 77006

In its new digs in more resale-friendly Montrose, the windows are brimming with 70s era clothing as if there isn't enough room inside. Expect lots of polyester and a good selection of vintage tshirts.

Blue Bird Circle

615 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77006

A library level of quiet settles over this non-profit resale shop where furniture and antiques are the main draw. The decades-old crystal and tea sets catch an understandably high price, but if you wait a few weeks the price goes down.

Way We Wore

2602 Waugh Dr, Houston, TX 77006

This is a popular place for costume shopping, so it's one of those vintage shops. There are actual costumes for rent in the back, but all the funky resale items grouped into 50s era, hippie and disco categories serve the same purpose.

Couture Blowout

1621 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77006

Don't let the shabby strip mall exterior fool you; the interior of this resale boutique is chic and owner Fatou Fall acquires top designer brands. Vintage usually only means a few seasons old here and while well discounted, don't expect to find your Chanel for cheap.

Vintage Oasis

1512 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006

Another in a long row of resale shops in Montrose, Vintage Oasis is packed to the gills with merchandise and home to a cat?a dealbreaker for some visitors.
