No longer last-ditch resorts for forgotten toothbrushes and souvenir tees, hotel gift shops have gone chic, and, of course, LA is one of the cities on top of the trend. While this cutting-edge gear is found primarily in spendy concept hotels for now, it's worth keeping a look out for quirky and modest hotel shops in Los Angeles that will soon be riding this retail wave.

A little bit Vegas, a little bit fancy tea room, the London is definitely a Los Angeles hotel worth a peep for its sprawling Gordon Ramsay restaurant and ornate lounge areas. And now that the Alex Roldan Shop inside his eponymous salon is doling out super-cool accessories like necklaces and of-the-moment bangles, home accents and chic knick-knacks, there's even more reason to stop by and spy.
Forget Drai's, Delphine, Bliss, The Station, and all the other stuff at this Hollywood hot spot. "The Store" at W Hollywood is worth its own trip to this bustling corner of the Boulevard. With gorgeous, cool jewelry from Suzanne Dai, Dolce Vita dresses, Kid Robot tees, Parke and Ronen swim trunks and loads more, the offerings feel varied and right-off-the-rack. It's especially impressive considering how petite this little boite is.
"The Shop" at the Standard in Los Angeles has famously collaborated with surfer lifestyle line Quiksilver, and the result is a line of boardshorts, bikinis and sunglasses perfect for popping up to the rooftop pool or zipping down the freeway to a Westside beach. The hotel's site also sells logo'd goods from that other notorious home away from home, Chateau Marmont.
The signature shop at the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel purveys all things luxe, branded and very, very pink. A "pink princess" pet bed, travel bag, robe, a surf board, a bottle opener and loads more goodies emblazoned with the hotel's famous script are yours for the buying.
Only at Santa Monica's iconic Pacific-adjacent hotel would one find a beach bag designed by Joie. The Shutters shop plays host to robes, bedding, baby hoodies with the trademark umbrella image--you name it. But there are also home decor items celebrating the perfectly honed chi-chi beach aesthetic.
Not only is couture jewelry designer Michael Beaudry's flagship US shop located in the lobby of downtown Beverly Hills' flashiest newcomer, but the general shop sells lovely Agraria Golden Pomegranate bath products, Pierre Koukjian watches, custom-painted tea sets by Lissi Kaplan and more hard-to-find upscale goods.
