The weather's warming, the flowers are blooming and the kids are flooding out of school--yup, it's springtime. Though most of us are not lucky enough to get a spring break, these ten ideas for March activities in SF will help even the most jaded city-dweller make the month.

ALL MONTH: The stunning and monumental sculptures of Mexico's Olmec civilization are on display in a special exhibit that runs until May 8. On each Friday night in March, the de Young will hold a Mexican-themed nighttime event, with drinks and tours.
MARCH 3-6. The San Francisco Green Film Festival will offer documentaries on topics ranging from the impact of plastics to the Indonesian palm oil industry.
MARCH 19. Indie filmmaker Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes ("Silent Bob" and "Jay," respectively) will speak to what's sure to be a sold-out crowd.
MARCH 17: Start your St. Patrick's Day at the city parade (it begins at 10am at Civic Center), then follow the floats to the city's biggest Irish block party, held at this popular pub.
MARCH 12: Amsterdam Cafe will offer a beer-tasting party, with 40 beers to sample. Admission is limited, so there will be plenty of space to try everything.
MARCH 11-18. The Berkeley Wine Festival kicks off on March 11 with a tasting party at Meritage. More than 45 wines will be paired with bites from Berkeley's most acclaimed chefs.
