"This is the best low key, burrito slamming, tequila shooting, rock n' roll dive bar to ever exist! Located in the heart of Little Five Points, El Myr is my hometown favorite bar of choice. A jukebox ranging from George Jones to Nick Cave to Slayer is sure to please. The food is excellent. Its rooms are small, dark and filled with an unpretentious staff and diehard patrons who all have interesting stories to tell. Try the breakfast burrito or the fish tacos, both are delicious and affordable. My top pick is currently the Hazedilla, a vegan filled quesadilla in which I substitute cheese instead of rice. It's amazing! Also, the pear cider is always ice cold and most refreshing. Do yourself a favor and experience the late night glory for yourself!"

"They have the best hot wings around. We make the 20-mile trip quite often to eat here. I am a big fan of the hot wings. These fat, tangy, plump wings are the best I've found. Everything else on the menu is nothing short of fabulous. "The Gator Balls" and the seafood chowder are incredible!"

"For over 30 years, this is my favorite "southern cooking" cafeteria-style restaurant. The dessert menu consists of 15 different pies, six puddings and a cobbler of the day! Lunch and dinner selections vary each day of the week. My personal favorite is Thursday as their turkey and dressing has been famous forever. Come anytime, you will not be disappointed."

Opened on Labor Day, 1955, this landmark has since spawned over 1,000 other locations...with store #1,000 only two blocks away! For those unfamiliar, this is the southern staple for waffles, patty melts and grits! Open 24 hours everyday of the year, this place especially rules during late nights while intoxicated."

"Honoring rock gods with food, Kuma's menu is a proper offering of most excellent burgers and beers. With the "Slayer Sandwich," "Maiden Melt" and "Neurosis Burger" amongst many others to choose from, this remarkable rock 'n roll restaurant is one of a kind. All of their signature burgers can be vegetarian, too! My recent visit there resulted in an incredibly tasty "Mastodon Burger" topped with cheddar, bacon and frizzled onions. It's truly life changing!"

Highlights include the punk rock display and the 24-hour non-stop Jimi Hendrix "Live" theater. A must see destination for all music fans and players alike. "Two of the best things in life are rum drinks and beach atmosphere. Blowing minds since 1956, Mai Kai is the oldest Polynesian restaurant in the states. Recreating a Polynesian village, complete with tiki torches, palm tree dining and a wooden plank entrance bridge, they offer everything one can desire. The Molokai bar located inside offers over 50 beautiful and frosty concoctions. One of the best establishments in the world!"
