Free 40-minute tours leave every 15 minutes from 9am-4pm, daily, wending their way through a working factory where the beans and other candies are created. (It sounds simple enough, but a single Jelly Belly bean takes more than a week to make.) There are plenty of samples available at the visitor's center, and lunch is for sale in the factory cafe.

Chabot Space and Science Center

On Friday and Saturday evenings, enjoy free telescope viewing through one of the facility's telescopes, which include the original 8-inch refractor donated by Anthony Chabot in 1883 (Leah), a 20-inch refractor (Rachel) and the latest addition, a 36-inch reflector (Nellie). Current astronomical objects being viewed include Jupiter, Saturn and Venus, plus the Ring Nebula and the Hercules Globular Cluster.

Exhibits include a 4,000-square-foot aviary, a walkthrough behive-honeycomb exhibit (with a live hive) and more, and visitors can watch the museum's river otters and foxes fed daily.
