Although you've seen him in Miami on "Good Morning, Miami," in Washington, D.C. on "The West Wing," in Philly on "In Her Shoes" and in Chicago on "What Women Want," Mark Feuerstein is a born-and-raised New Yorker. When he's not on-screen, he might be found at one of these favorite eateries.

Parma Restaurant

"This place is near and dear to my heart because it's where my family has had Sunday night dinners for 20 years. If I had an Italian mother, I would say it's like mama used to make. Everything here is delicious: The linguine and white clam sauce, the garlic bread, the house salad chopped, their lasagna made with spinach noodles is off the charts, the veal chop, the veal parm, the spaghetti and meatballs, everything. Just good Italian food."

City Bakery

"I'm a 35-year-old man with a wife and child, yet I still ride my bike through NYC to every audition and meeting I have. Somehow, no matter where the day may take me, I find myself locking my bike outside City Bakery and running in for one of their pretzel croissants. Amazing! I might put a little tuna on it and call it lunch, alongside some of their delicious baked tofu and creamy sauce, and finish it up with one of their house-made marshmallows. Awesome!"

Sullivan Street Bakery

"I grew up on the Upper East Side and my parents still have a crashpad for me when I'm in town. But if I'm below Houston, I'm gonna be swingin' by for a piece of the potato pizza--it's a fresh crunchy crust laid in with thin, crispy slices of well-baked potato, interlaced with caramelized onions. I wash it down with one of those little San Pellegrino Limonatas. Love!"

Balthazar

"Call me trendy, wannabe, poser, what-have-you, but there's nothing like meeting up with family or friends on a cold winter night and hanging by that amazing bar and having a glass of wine or a martini. Follow it up with your basic French onion soup and steak frites."

Green Grass Barney

"Of course the smoked fish is perfect and delicious. With their age-old reputation, it better be. But if you want a real New York delicacy, get the lox, eggs and onions. But tell your significant other there will be no smootchin' afterward; you'll be doing him or her a big favor. Oh, and get a bialy for the road!"

"In high school, I was always confused by their juices being room temperature, but their hot dogs just say 'New York!'"

"I know my fine palate is really showing itself now, but if you don't get a black and white cookie from Pick-A-Bagel, you're just a moron. It's the best there is."

Joe Allen

"This place is a classic post-theater spot. You're likely to see Al Pacino in one corner looking younger than Dakota Fanning and Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick competing for who's louder and funnier in another. The greatest part of the decor is that the posters on the wall are all of the shows that closed in their first week. Fantastic! That's also how I would describe the burger. I will go on the record as saying it's the best burger in Manhattan. And it's not on the menu so you'll be cool for knowing that they have one (but not that cool!)."

Cafe Fiorello
Read Reviews1900 Broadway, New York, NY 10023 (map)
"I did a play at Lincoln Center a couple years back, and while the play left a lot of people wanting more, Fiorello's doesn't. After curtain, I would head over with my motley crew and devour--nay, inhale--their thin crust pizza like I was on the Sahara and it was lemonade. Everything else is great, too, particularly the martinis."

"To sit and watch the sun set as the boats come in with fresh catches from the day and devour a three pound lobster--nothing like it."

Cyril's Fish House

"If you'd rather be drinking than eating when the sun is setting, then this unassuming Jamaican joint will never fail to cheer you up with its bustling crowd of renters, shares and owners. Then there's the seductive IBCs, the rum drink of choice. Get a rum floater in it--you're there to enjoy yourself."

Silver's Famous Restaurant
Read Reviews15 Main St, Southampton, NY 11968 (map)
"The most quaint perfect little lunch spot in all of the Hamptons. It's worth the drive on the L.I.E. just to hang out, but it is also the most delicious, fresh, hearty chicken soup around. They also have an amazing lobster roll, and everything else on the menu is great, too."
-
Vetri Restaurant
Read Reviews1312 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 (map)
"This is the Italian restaurant Stanley Tucci was imagining when he made 'Big Night.' It's the perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant. Every noodle is made there; every fish or meat is as fresh as can be. Mark Vetri reconfigures that menu every week, so he is constantly pushing himself to make the most inventive and delicious cuisine."

Loaves & Fishes Cookshop

"If you're willing to take out a bank loan to pay for lunch, then you'll be in debt to me for the suggestion. There's no better lunch place to pick up food than L&F. The meatloaf sandwich, the lobster salad, the pasta salad, the fresh wheat bread: every single gorgeous salad and sandwich behind the glass is outstanding."

Joe's Stone Crab
Read Reviews11 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (map)
"You can either shmear Dennis, the guy at the door, or wait patiently for two hours. It will be worth it to get into this classic Miami restaurant. I've had so many family dinners here with my grandparents that they just say, 'Happy birthday, whoever' when I walk in with my Jew crew. But their salad dressing is amazing, the stoned crabs are enormous and succulent, and you'll have just enough room for the Key lime pie. It'll be worth the feeling afterward that you're gonna beat all the octogenarians around you to the finish line."
