Exit 9 Gift Emporium

Exit 9 Gift Emporium

New York, NY

When I lived in the East Village, this was the ONLY place to purchase quality gifts. They have an assortment of items ranging from pricey to cheap-y. I, myself like to buy my loved ones things that smell nice... like candles.

Very precise and thorough. Added bonus: unlike other manicure places, they DO allow you to put tips on your credit card.

Salon Champu

Salon Champu

New York, NY

Champu pup Chloe welcomes you as you step into this vegan salon, where my stylist made thoughtful suggestions about my idea for a cut and carried it out very professionally. No razor was used (I prefer a scissor cut) and my stylist took her time perfecting the cut. Unite Eurotherapy vegan products are used here, and I have found them to be very effective. The shampoo was gentle and relaxing, and my hair was styled beautifully for going out.
