Primorski Restaurant

Primorski Restaurant

Brooklyn, NY

This old-school Russian restaurant hosts many birthday parties and family dinners, and Saturday nights are the night to come for dancing and revelry. You'll feel as if you've been transported to the 70's, but in a Russian danceclub. Live singing by the entertainment can feel like karaoke, but you make your own fun here between sips of vodka and spoonfuls of caviar. The cold cuts and the rolled eggplant in walnut sauce were delicious, savory and filling, and the Russian crepes were thick, warm affairs that you just wanted to shove in your mouth whole (but resisted, of course, being in polite company). Order whole bottles of vodka for the table and you're good to go.
