The Spice Table

The Spice Table

Los Angeles, CA

Chef Bryant Ng is cooking a fusion of cuisines from Singapore, Vietnam, and Southeast Asia at the Spice Table. There's a flare to some of the dishes, like the grilled pig's tail and the jellyfish salad, while others dishes are boldly authentic (tripe satay and spicy chicken livers). The food tastes traditional, but elevated to something special. The bar serves craft beers and even offers a sampler for $10. The restaurant has a friendly warm ambience. Sit outside during warm summer nights.

Cafe Dulce

Cafe Dulce

Los Angeles, CA

The green tea donut with vanilla custard is the perfect Japanese donut fix in Little Tokyo. Make sure to eat them there, or shortly after you leave, because donuts can get soggy in their plastic to-go containers if you wait to long to devour them.

Aloha Cafe

Aloha Cafe

Los Angeles, CA

Hawaiian shaved ice available with lots of different flavor options.

Zip Fusion

Zip Fusion

This sushi place is upbeat and really good. A good choice for a group of friends to meet up.

The Spice Table. A must-stop for your venture into Little Tokyo. Attentive service, food that I can't imagine attempting to mimic at home, and let your mouth travel across the pacific.
