My husband had a great haircut here, found it very comfortable & is looking forward to going back for a shave.
You know the drill: Rush, rush, rush to get to your spa appointment, arriving frazzled. Well, you're going to want to build in some extra down time when you visit Elaia, starting on the front end, after you slip into a comfy robe and sink into a plush chaise lounge in the waiting area. There are big stacks of magazines, snacks and all sorts of tea from which to choose. Ahhh, that's better. The treatments are equally dreamy, with a sharp focus on using products featuring local ingredients. The Oxygen Glow Facial includes a dose of O-2 infused with vitamins and botanicals. Mae had a deft touch and offered lots of good advice, in a quiet, calm way. Unlike many spa experiences, this didn't feel at all like she was pushing a product. Appreciate that! The same firm, but gentle approach was true for massage therapist Stacy. An hour on the table, bird chirp-y soundtrack in the background, aromatherapy perfuming the room, and I was as limp as a breadstick left out in a tropical storm. Double ahhh. Only wish I had time for a mani-pedi, too. Bonus: The Hyatt at Olive 8's terrific workout facilities, including an excellent lap pool, sauna and whirlpool are available to spa guests.

Spa at Four Seasons. A tranquil space in the bustling city center. Treatments are everything you'd hope for and then some. Indulge in the Oxygen Facial and you'll see lines disappear. No kidding. This fabulous treatment was pioneered in Australia, where the equipment was invented. And it's all the rage in Hollywood. Build in a little extra time to enjoy the steam room or the sauna. Even the locker room smells like a romp through a field of lavendar. And, if you're a guest at the wonderful Four Seasons, the infinity pool deck has one of the best views of Elliott Bay in Seattle. Beware: You might find yourself wanting to never leave this luxe place. … read more
