They have an amazing breakfast burrito. This is the one stop shop for your breakfast needs.

Very good Thai and I can be picky. The pad thai is great but don't be afraid to go off and try other things on the menu. :)

Bourgeois Pig

Bourgeois Pig

Los Angeles, CA

There's always something interesting going on at Bourgeois Pig in the Franklin Village. It's one of the trippiest cafes in the city with the groovy interior and the eccentric clientele - all of which can be good for breaking through the writer's block. However, they also have a study room if you really need to buckle down and get some work done. And if you need a quick break, there's a pool table. Though they serve sandwiches and salads, I stick to the lattes.

The Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl

Los Angeles, CA

This is a must-do in the summer for Angelenos and visitors alike. I don't care what's playing. Just pack and picnic and go. Extra pro tip: since it's a state park, it's open and free during the day to sit, read and explore.

Not a bad spot for a private gathering, but the service is just ok and the food isn't really that good especially for the price.

The Hollywood Bowl. The best overall outdoor concert venue in the city, if not the whole country. A mix of topnotch entertainment, plus great picnicking and a BYO policy (for non-lease events), make it ideal for groups, dates, family outings, and an awesome place to impress visitors. … read more

The Hollywood Bowl. I actually like visiting the Bowl during the day when a event isn't going on. You can just come to the empty bowl and still have a picnic in the huge outdoor theater! But it's still super awesome to come when Florence and the Machine is playing!… read more
