Lola's

Lola's

West Hollywood, CA

Great martinis and even better late happy hour, 10:30pm-12am.

Kibitz Room

Kibitz Room

West Hollywood, CA

Hidden on the north side of Canter's Deli is the Kibitz room; one of the coolest dive bars in L.A. During the day, older Jewish gentlemen pound them back while enjoying a bowl of matzo ball soup. At night, the place opens itself up a younger, hipper crowd who are there for the cheap beer and live music. And after the bar closes and you've lost your voice and your ears are ringing, slip next door into Canters for a pastrami sandwich to guard against the hangover.

Fiesta Cantina

Fiesta Cantina

West Hollywood, CA

Weho's answer to Cabo Cantina. Always packed and a good time. More of a bar and restaurant (before peak ours on a Friday or Sunday) than a night club. Very fun for meeting with friends.

Gorge. This is a hidden gem on the Sunset Strip - yes, such a restaurant does exist. The French menu focuses on house-made charcuterie and sausage. Service is polite and polished, but also friendly. This is not stuffy fine dining; staff go out of the way to make you feel at home. … read more
