When I can sit on a beautiful rooftop in the middle of a huge metropolitan city and look at the garden where most of my food is coming from, I am a very happy camper. Glad to see that Tesori is bustling the way Rhapsody had before. The Manhattan cocktail was one of the best parts of the meal.

If you're craving a Mexican breakfast, ie chorizo, tortillas, eggs and coffee, El Mariachi is your jam (jelly?). Awesome hidden patio and bottomless mimosas are just avocado on the black bean cake.

The Pony Inn was THE Blackhawks bar of 2010. Just an educated guess: it will be hard to get a seat for the 2013 playoffs as well.

Corcoran's is not only pretty awesome because it's a super cas spot on what can sometimes feel like an uppity Wells Street, but on any given night, you'll probably run into a Second City comedian/enne.

I can't say I haven't spent many-a post-Cubs game here at Murphy's. It gets sticky and icky, but man is it a fun time. And they support all Chicago sports teams, so it's all good.
