Perfect for travelers tired of cookie-cutter hotels.. The Scene
This wonderfully unique property is located on a quiet section of the River Walk. Its 11 guest rooms are comprised of historic log cabins that were moved piece by piece from Tennessee and converted into comfortable lodgings. Decor showcases 19th century antiques, and a long front porch recalls an earlier, more laid-back era. The property is just a short stroll to the main section of the River Walk and its many popular attractions.

The Details
For all of its old-fashioned country charms, this inn offers plenty of modern conveniences for both leisure and business travelers. Cable TV, dual phone jacks for computers and fax machines, voicemail and a meeting room for up to 12 are among its amenities. Each of the guest rooms is approximately 400 square feet, and all have private baths with large walk-in showers with flagstone floors. The rooms' hardwood floors are adorned with braided rugs, and nine of the accommodations feature fireplaces.

All Expectations Met. My fiance and I completely enjoyed our stay here. What a gem of a hotel. I think the folks in the next room enjoyed it even more than we did.
