Wonderful – Food and view were fantastic. Wine list was extensive. Service was friendly and not rushed. A great night on the town.

Favorite In San Antonio – We loved the Fig Tree - upscale atmosphere, excellent food and tremendous service without being pretentious. The wine list was one of the best we have ever seen and we usually dine in Chicago. I highly recommend everything about the Fig Tree.

Media Buyer – I went to the Fig Tree with my boyfriend while staying on the Riverwalk. Our experience was the best part of the trip. Our table was in a prime spot, above a waterfall, with a view of the river; such a beautiful setup. The food was wonderful, the service was friendly and extremely accomodating-- the waiter even let us use his cell phone to thank someone for ordering us a bottle of wine. Overall, a great experience.

Great food but don't skimp on the $$ – I've been to the Fig Tree three times recently. Twice with my wife when I ordered very expensive $200 bottles of wine. On each of those occasions the service was sheer perfection, like the food always is. They fawn over you. On one occasion I went with business associates who don't drink and we declined the wine. We had a reservation for six but showed up with three. The waiter was very snobby, acting better than us. He was obviously annoyed that on a slow night probably one of his only tables was only going to spend about $120. A restaurant with these prices and a world-class chef should ALWAYS treat customers like royalty. Because of that I cancelled another dinner there at which I would have spend over a thousand dollars with six people. Despite all this, the food is always consistently phenomenal and the ambience is first class.
