First and foremost if you guys care about your business you will work to make some changes in the future. I was there with my family on saturday night to enjoy a nice family dinner and experienced one of the most displeasing and uncomfortable dining experiences ever. First, the waiter was rude, uneducated and displayed no manners of any sort he took atleast thirty minutes to get two virgin piña coladas and a pitcher of beer, that by the time we recieved our frozen drinks they were already of a watery consistancy. The food was just as bad with the taste of day old beans and rice burnt to the texture of granola. Secondly, when our food order came (which was wrong) your waiter claimed we had made two orders of the nights special the chicken gorditas and proceeded to make a big deal about it. In general everything about my experience at this place was bad from the food to the service. I will not be recommending this place to any family or friends and will be placing the appropriate rating on YELP and any other review sites. I hope my complaint can make a difference because the simple fact of being on the river walk won't grant you unsuspecting customers forever. Thank you for your time.
A very unhappy customer.
Very disappointed – After a wonderful day at the SA Riverwalk, we crowned our evening with dinner and drinks. This restaurant was a terrible choice! The service was slow. The appetizer arrived with the meal. Chili con Queso should be served hot. This was cold and might as well have been melted Velveeta. The main entrée was also cold. The beans looked terrible. The rice was horrendous. There was nothing in the beef except (I hope) beef. Neither seasoning nor flavoring. The waiter never returned after dropping off our plates. We left most of our meals. Between the terrible food and the worse service, it was a waste of money.
Native San Antonian likes it! – So I started off with the salsa, spicy and tomato based. My margarita was good. I had the strawberry margarita, the strawberries helped take away some of the bite from the actual margarita. I had the bacon wrapped chicken. I forget what the name of it was, but the chicken was tender and it was stuffed with something nice. For dessert, I had the sopapillas. They were light and fluffy, and perfect when you have them with honey. So i recommend this place if you want to have a nice relaxing dinner by the river.
Everything was excellent. Will definitely come back. We are from Houston. Thank you.
