Great Job – I had remembered Cloud roofing from when we were stationed in San Antonio in the 1970s. They did not disappoint again. The crews were very professional and when a slight misunderstanding arose, the office staff was totally responsive. In fact, someone even dropped by to make sure everything was A OK. The job was finished quickly and professionally. My husband got on the roof to check it out and the work was superb !! A job well done and if I ever need another roof in the next 30 years, hopefully Cloud will still be around !!! The price was also extremely reasonable.
cloud roofing – These folks did a fabulous job. They started when they said they would and completed a great job on time. The cleanup was superb! I had no trouble working with the sales representative or with the home office. I am more than pleased. I had called a so-called discount roofer and expected to get the best price there, calling Cloud only for a comparison. Was I ever surprised when the Cloud bid came in more than $1,000 lower! I would call them again if I need roofing done. They were that good!
The owner could use some customer service skills, however his team and project manager are first rate. Recommend getting several estimates before using Cloud Roofing. They most likely will be on the top end of any estimate. I agree with Mr.Cloud that they will be the one's around to provide warranty service when everyone else has gone out of business. If you use Cloud I hope you get Shannon to run your project. Shannon is a stand up guy who really cares about the service he is providing. If not for him I probably would have chose another roofing company. I am very pleased with the quality of their work.
Highly Recommended – This is my first house; I've never had to hire any kind of contractor before. Cloud was very professional, kept up with phone calls, answered every question I had and provided references that I could speak with. They also came in with the lowest bid of the three that I obtained. My old roof had a layer of wood shingles and a layer of asphalt on top of that- no existing decking. I chose to have everything torn off and replaced with a radiant barrier decking and a 30 yr asphalt "dimensional" shingle. Their crew showed up on time (early actually, they were working by 8 am) and were willing to answer any additional questions I had as well as show me where there were deteriorated portions of fascia that had to be replaced. I was VERY impressed by their cleanup. I still have not found any debris or even any nails. Cloud sent a representative out to do a final inspection, and I wrote them a check for the full amount. Overall It took them a full day plus 2 hrs the following day to complete the job including cleanup on both days (and with all of the old shake shingles they had to remove it was no small task).
I couldn't be happier with my decision to contract with Cloud. I highly recommend them.
YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU USED CLOUD ROOFING! This company cannot be trusted – Cloud Roofing promised the world, delivered something totally different, and then refused to fix even their own errors. To begin with the Cloud Roofing rep who visited my house promised that my flat roof would be built up so that water would run off and that the flashing would all be replaced. This job was already difficult to get started as they delayed from the first August visit and eventually proposed that they would be there Dec. 24th. It took some 10-15 calls to get them to do the promised job finally in Jan. of the next year. Then they said that since the rep had not put any of his claims in writing in the contract they would not do them. I even got the rep on the phone and he confirmed what he had said and they still refused to honor them. They did not build it up so that water will run off and they left all the old flashing there. The roof I ended up with has a big pool in the middle where water collects, and sits for days afterwards. In addition, they dropped tar down the side of the house but then refused to really address the problem, painting over it with a totally different color. In the meantime they also tried to convince me that my whole rest of the roof needed to be replaced. In sum, I had to beg them to come, they violated everything they said to me, and then it took a lot of effort on my part to even get my house looking like it did before. I now have a roof that seems structurally doomed and ended up only with frustration. If you call to make a complaint be assured that it will not be resolved.
