Great Italian Food. – Main Street definitely has a great variety of Italian food that is both very delicious and very affordable. Check out their weekly specials and you will not be dissappointed. Their meat lasagna is absolutely the best I have ever tasted in town and the ranch dressing is to die for. The staff at this establishment is always very friendly and welcoming. It is a place that caters to all ages and cultures. You cannot go wrong with visiting Main Street because once you visit you will become a customer for life.

Old-fashioned pizza parlor dishes out some of the best pie in town. – The Scene
Sinatra's smooth voice floats from the speakers. Kitschy paintings of vegetables hang on the wall. The color red dominates. Main Street Pizza is not a cliché--it's the platonic ideal of the pizza parlor. The New York-style pizza, calzones and focaccia sandwiches are so expertly created that, once you try them, you'll mourn the years you've wasted eating chain restaurants' sad shadows of true pizza.

The Food
New York-style pizza is defined by its thin, crunchy, almost cracker-like crust. Main Street Pizza makes an exemplary crust that audibly crunches in your mouth and complements without overwhelming the tangy tomato sauce and stringy cheese on top. For true crust lovers, the calzones are shells of just-tough-enough crust wrapped around cheese and the fillings of your choice. If you're not in a marinara mood, order a sandwich on light-as-angel-wings focaccia.

Taste Buds – Waited on by the fastest Cat In Town, Ernie, and what a job he does. I will take my plate Spaghetti Garlic and Butter, Green Olives, and Chicken, Ranch and Tea. The smell of fresh foccica bread out of the oven makes me buy 1 more. I love the sensation I get from the mixture of flavors swirling in my mouth. The only way that my day can end any better is going home and taking my nap on a full stomach. I HEART MSPP! The additon is awesome!

When the moon hits your eye... – It is the best, from the food to the atmosphere to the background music of old blue eyes and dean martin.

Like a Cheers for pizza! – Not only do they have the best pizza in town (hands down the best), but treat their repeat customers like you expect your family to treat you. My family has been a regular at the Crossroads location for years, and they recognize when there is a variation in the normal order.

Thank God for Pizza – Let's just be happy that pizza is on their menu. Everything else leaves something to be desired...something like flavor. Their pizza is good, but I've had better at the mall. Their spaghetti as the consistancy of 2% milk and their salads look about as appetizing as passed over tofu. Be happy there is pizza on the menu. Run from all else.

Bravissimo!!! – When I first moved to San Antonio, I thought that good Italian required a $40 commitment... until I tried Main Street Pizza. The food is great, the service friendly AND it's locally owned and operated. This no frills establishment has trimmed off all the extra amenities. You walk up to the counter and place your order (note that there are no free refills on soda), seat yourself and enjoy a salad while waiting for your food to arrive. (This saves us on the cost of tipping we like that.) I usually get the beef ravioli combo, but everything I have tried is great. Their pizza is as close as you can get to New York in San Antonio. I also love their house Italian dressing. The location is within walking distance of our apartment what else can I say? We love this place!!!
