This dealer should not be in business. They agreed on a price then charge us another price. Their team woos you around then the finance person does not go over the details but just sign here, sign here. When we release what their did it was too late. They also did not bother trying to get us 1.9% interest but insisted that we only qualify for 4.9%. We needed the car and did not pay attention. BUT I feel they robbed us of $3500. I wrote about the way I was treated to Mr. Takanobu Ito - President & CEO -Honda Motor Ltd – 1-1, 2-chrome, Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-8556, Japan and to Mr. Tetsuo Iwamura - President & CEO - Honda North America Inc – 1919 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance CA 90501 to complain about the dealer. I was contacted by the main office in California who helps me recover some of my money thru canceling unnecessary extra insurance. The dealer say they would reimburse us but I had to call back California 4 times before I got all my money back as the dealer gave the money back a little at a time. The dealer almost never return my phone call, from the manager the finance manager to other people I email or left message. Only when I threat them to re-write to Japan and CA did I get action from them. The dealer also lie about our credit as 2 month after buying the car I got re-finance at 2% with one phone call thru RBFCU. THIS DEALER DOES NOT DESERVE TO REPRESENT HONDA THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS, LIARS AND CONS ARTISTS. My suggestion go anywhere but there ! And if you have problem with dealer I also suggest that you write like I did to Japan and CA !

they gave me a car with a dead battery! did not fill up the tank before i left the parking lot they did not answer my phone calls and they changed my monthly payment behind my back and now they don't want to give me my 1,500 dollar down payment back!

never again! Bought prepaid service plan. People are surly, even little things like oil change take 2hours or more. Facility is a dump. No one answers phone if you call. Benson is in my neighborhood, and I'm a long time customer, but Gunn may get my business for next car purchase, let alone for service
Best service!! – Exceptional Service! They explained everything in detail, made recommendations and even gave me a rental while my car was being worked on and had my car detailed. They were very professional and courteous. Thank you!
Best service ever – Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Took my car in to have my brakes changed and they took excellent care of both me and my car. Felt they were very honest and genuinely cared about my business. Will be going back for all my future needs.
Excellent Service Department – I have a 2000 Honda Accord that I have had maintenanced at Benson Honda. They are very efficient and knowledgeable. They inspected my car and fixed the problem and gave me recommendations to maintain my car and broke down what I really needed done and what could wait. The advisor was very thorough and explained everything in detail. It's because of service like this that has helped me keep my car well maintenanced and why it has served me well and will last for years to come. I will definitely continue to maintenance my car at Benson.
Service Sux – Report from wife: Went in for "Express" oil change. Sat in car for 5 min. with no attention. Went in office where several were drinking coffee and talking, seemingly idly.
Wife told 2 hours for oil change. Asked about the big "express" sign outside and told she didn't know what express meant. (rudely)
When asked about being first in the morning, service tech told here still two hours. "You don't want the mechanic to burn his hands, do you?" rude again.
I bought two Honda cars there. I will not buy there again. That's maybe over 50,000.00 in sales for being rude.
I am going to recommend a change in attitude.
negative points – DON'T GO HERE! I just wanted an oil change, and they crashed my car into a pole.
