dont eat here. – DO NOT EAT THERE.
i have experience working at luigi's pizza and it wasnt long that i found out they run an illegal business and they rip off everyone. customers AND employees.
they'll go around and "coupon" at hotels...and sling pizzas around san antonio.
i went couponing with them once and had no idea what was in store for me....they would break in hotels and then pop pills and drive with coke with them.
do not go there.
very unsanitary as well.
Worst, By far – Here is the overview of my experience. I received a "coupon" under the hotel door, and called to use it. But they didn't honor the coupon. They added double the amount of the tip I told them to charge on my debit card. The pizza arrived 30 minutes past the quoted time (they told us it would be an hour...). The pizza was COLD! There was no sauce or cheese, but they did put 5 pepperonis on the pizza, a large pizza. We also found a long black hair, that was baked into the crust of the pizza, half sticking out, along with a greasy b;ack hand print on the pizza box. We called to complain and they put us on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on us. Tried back again then claimed "there's no manager here." Does that sound SHADY to you????????
BEWARE!!!!!!! – I think they were out of cheese. I got a flyer under my door while staying at Embassy Suites and called in a to-go order. I spent 40 dollars on a crust and ketsup pizza and lasagna that was some tomato sauce and pseudo pasta. NO CHEESE at all. I should have gone to the grocery store and bought a can of Chef-Boyardee. I also ordered a salad and breadsticks and after numerous calls, never received them. I just wasted 40 dollars as we finally just threw the pizza and lasagne in the trash. My kids would not eat it. This is my first review but I was so mad I wanted to warn future victims.
Horrible!! Horrible!! Horrible!! – This was the worst "Italian" food ever. The pasta was over cooked and the bread was hard. The olive oil/Italian seasoning dip was simply bad. The appetizers were tasteless and bland. The only reason that we tried this place was because it was supposed to be great (previous owners); it is not anymore. The chef needs to spend 2 weeks in Italy eating out to learn what Italian food is supposed to taste like. I spent $45 for a meal that we could not/would not finish. DO NOT DINE HERE!
On a positive note, the staff was friendly.
Editorial Review – This neighborhood eatery serves classic Italian cuisine and features an extensive wine list, attentive service and a pleasant decor.
Amazing experience!! – Excellent service. Great ambiance. The stuffed flounder is exquisite. Highly recomend the stuffed mushrooms as well as the fettucini alfredo. Child friendly, low-key, romantic setting for those of us who have to balance both simultaniously. Elegant private booths also. Especially inviting when they have live music (check schedule).
Family owned and operated for generations with class and style. Don't let the parking discourage you, (HEB lot N of restauraunt).
Great find – What a great find! Good food, exceptional service, charming interior - all at wonderfully reasonable prices. We had a waiter named John who anticipated our needs. We will definitely go back. Don't let the unimpressive exterior keep you from discovering what's inside.
Great Restaurant!! – Very good Italian Food!! First time there, and im hooked! I had an outstanding waiter by the name of erik. I recommend you ask for him. The food was great.
