just like moms cooking – This place felt like home with the ambience: it doesnt look like a rest. inside it looks more as a home wit the tradional music of the phil. warm and inviting fire place. the food is really like moms cooking back home. The wait staff are really friendly the manger there brings everything that a restaurant should be like they take the time to get to know their customers. I highly recommend their tasty and wonderful sampler plate.
A Great Place To Eat – The food is wonderfully prepared. Price is very reasonable. Food is very tasty. A clean and well maintained place to eat. The sampler plate is terrific but would suggest serving 2 pieces of chicken and both types of lumpia to compliment a reasonable increase in price from 3.95 to 4.95. Authentic Philippino cuisin.
great filipino food in san antonio – one of the few places where the filipino cooking is just as good as home... if not even better. the adobo, pancit, bangus, tilapia, lechon kawali, lumpia, crispy pata, and so much more are delicious. they also have baked filipino goods like pan de sal, ensamada, puto, biko, leche flan etc. & cant forget about the halo-halo. the staff is friendly and treat you like family. their new location is nice and much bigger than before. highly recommended!
delicious chicken adobo. excellent camote bread, yummy pancit and i could eat 2 or more egg rolls.
A little Place with a Big potential – This small Filipino Food Bakery/Restaurant is well worth the drive. It is located a little outside Lackland AFB and at the Southwest outskirt of the 410 loop. However, once inside this qaint little place you find a mirrid of things that make you feel like you have found a treasure. The menu is limited, but the quality is outstanding. The service is faster then the two other locations in this city that sell Filipino food
one of the few – There are very few Filipino restaurants here in San Antonio, unlike in CA where I came from so I was thrilled when I saw Lily's Bakery because they don't only sell Filipino baked goodies and products, they also served cooked Filipino food like adobo, menudo, mechado, pancit and halo-halo, a Filipino dessert. The food is not very good compare to home cooked but I would still recommend it since it is warm and there's not that many place to go. The place is small but it is a good one stop bakery and I recommend you call them first when you order a food because it takes a while when you get there. Enjoy!
