Poor service – I just tried this place for the first time. I would not recommend this to anyone. The service was very poor. After returning home. I found that my order was wrong after drving all the way to the restaurant to pick it up. After requesting to talk to the manager, I over heard employees talking badly about me and situation which was clearly their fault. I quess customer service is not their top priority. I would never go there again and will tell all my friends the same.

A place to Thai for – A very indistinguishable place just of 410 has been my fav Thai hangout in my 2 trips to San Antonio. The place is simple, spacious. The service quick and friendly. The portions large and reasonably priced. And the food - thats the best part. It is served nice & hot (so you have a slight waiting period), the spiciness is adjusted to your liking. The curries are yummy, the pad thai and other Thai noodles are amazing. The Pad Kee Maw is specially recommended.

I would go here anytime.

All around excellent! – Hands down best Thai place in the city, the staff is ALWAYS pleasant and the food is sure to be great 100% of the time. I wouldnt recommend anything hotter than a 6, on their 0-10 scale, unless youre totally a curry man-or-woman!

Great for the Thai Food Novice – From Jan. 06-Wife and I dined for first time. Overall, an excellent choice. Advantages: Great service (Restaurant was crowded, and the wait staff consisting of 3 was on top of everything), Value (Before tip, total bill under $25, with leftovers), Excellence in food preperation (Especially the Spring Rolls and Peanut Sauce dressing for salad...top notch) and diverse menu. Only two disadvantages, didn't bother us too much. One-No alcohol served, Two-Ambience (Old building). However, this restaurant would be perfect for a larger group if you don't want to wait elsewhere. General Comments: It is spicy! Our main dish was at rating 5, and it was VERY SPICY (much spicier than rating 5 in a Florida Thai restaurant we visited). BTW-They do go up to rating 10! But, wait staff was ready with water and tea promptly. A 100% endorsement for the Thai food enthusiast.

Best Thai Food in SA – I have been dining at this restaurant for over 8 years. The food is ALWAYS excellent, authentic and fresh. The service is always friendly, hours are great and the prices are good too. Highly recommended.

Hole-in-the-wall serves up terrific Thai at stripped-down price. – In Short
Everything about Thai Taste is downscale, except the the food. A favorite among medical center staff, Thai Taste is more than just a convenient westside lunch spot. The soups are a must and the beef panang perfectly blends the coconut milk and hot spices that define Thai cuisine. Try the humorously named "crazy noodles" for a spicy treat sans the coconut milk. And don't worry about splashing some of your meal on the table; they're covered in cheap plastic tablecloths.

Best Thai Food in San Antonio – Fresh ingredients, tasty lunch specials at a great value. I would highly recommend. Though not on the menu, you can request the Shrimp in Coconut Red Curry for lunch!

The Best in Town – Probably the best Thai in San Antonio. Authentic Thai. Inexpensive. Quick service. Friendly staff. Never had a bad meal here. I've been to EVERY Thai restaurant in town. This is by far my favorite.

Good restaurant in wrong city! – The first time I came here was with an old high-school friend who said this was her favorite Thai restaurant in town.

I came here twice, once trying lunch and dinner and, while the food was fairly good and the prices were excellent as well, I could not help but think I was unlikely to visit this place often because there are several much better places in town.

If this restaurant was in Buffalo NY or in Omaha it would be the best in town and I would come here every week. But Thai Cafe is so much better that I would only think of coming here if they were closed. Heck, Thai Dee is a better restaurant, and they're within walking distance of my old house!
