Billy Bobs Beds – We tried this store shortly after it opened but found the customer service was not just bad but rude. We are now needing a small bed for a guest room and since it is so close thought we would give the store a second chance. Wow in all the years no change to customer service. Not sure how they are expanding and staying in business. From completely ignored by one sales person to just plain rudeness from another.
Worst Place Ever!! Liars!! I should have looked at reviews. – First off I have to say that if I was given the chance, I would not have given any stars at all, but it is required for at least 1. I should have read reviews before going to this crap hole. First walking in to the store looks super trashy and filthy. You go into the rooms with the mattresses and everything is laid out with prices, although they are not actual prices. Everytime we would ask the sales woman a price on a bed, it was completely different than what is posted. Jumping to the end of our frustration, my husband and I kept laying on a particular bed, with her by our side. We asked her multiple times how much the bed was and she continuously said $419. We ended up saying she had a sale and we wanted the bed. They wrung us up and told us to meet them in the back to pick up the bed. As they were loading the mattress, I told my husband that it was not the same bed. I went inside to look at the appearance of the one we chose and saw it did not match. I brought the woman over and told her they loaded the wrong bed. Long story short, she ended up telling me that the bed she was thinking of was somewhere else. She walked me to another bed and said this is what you got. I asked her why she would sell me a bed that I didnt want. She said "oh sorry I made a mistake" A MISTAKE BY TAKING ALMOST $500 FROM ME?!!?! We demanded our money back stating they were liars and do not even try for customer satisfaction. When a company makes a huge mistake, they should fix it and eat it. The right thing to do would have been to give us the bed we were told we paid for at the price we paid. The price for stupidity. Oh yeah, and they have all these signs all over the place stating how they dont want children in there because of their "dirty hands" and they would not let their drivers take "their kids" to a customers house to track in all kinds of dirt. HOW RUDE IS THAT?!?! Final line.....DO NOT SHOP AT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!

NOT GREAT PRICES AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! – WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They claim to have the lowest priced mattresses. Internet surfing said they might be right, so we went in. The salesman had limited knowledge and immediately tried to push their most expensive mattress. We knew what we wanted and asked to look on our own and make our selection. Bought a mattress for ourselves and our daughter, both were memory foam. Our Sealy was nice and soft in the store (which is why we picked it) but the one they sent home with us is relative to sleeping on the floor and has a small tear on the seam. Guess what, 2 days later THE SAME MATTRESS IS NEARLY HALF PRICE AT A DIFFERENT LOCAL STORE! I called to see if they had any price match programs and I was very rudely treated. Probably the same rude guy as everyone else telling me there is no way it's the same mattress (which it is down to the name given to the mattress by Sealy), they don't give refunds, and I need to come in and get proven wrong by a salesman or call someone else. Cut me off and nearly hung up on me. Believe me, you will be much happier finding a better deal with better service SOMEWHERE ELSE!
WORST! WORST! PLACE EVER!!!! – I'M TELLING YOU THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACES I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! THE OWNER BILLY BOB, WHO I AM THINKING WAS HIS NAME IN THE STORE OR WHOEVER THE MANAGER/STORE OWNER IS, IS THE RUDEST PERSON YOU CAN ENCOUNTER! IT ALSO IS " A NOT KID FRIENDLY PLACE"! HE HAS HIS WORKERS MAKE AND SAY ALL THE DIRTY WORK FOR HIM INSTEAD OF HE SAYING THE THINGS STRAIGHT AT YOU! BUT STILL YELLS ACROSS THE FLOOR TO TELL HIS WORKER TO SAY SOMETHING TO A CUSTOMER INSTEAD OF HE YELLING IT TO THE CUSTOMER! IT'S CRAZY HOW THIS MAN ACTED!! aLL I KNOW IS THAT HE ALSO COULD'VE MADE A COUPLE OF THOUSAND DOLLER'S WITH OUR BUSINESS! OH, WELL TOO BAD!! YOU CAN TELL HE HATES LITTLE ONE'S! DOESN'T EVEN LET A CHILD LEAN ON A MATTRESS LIKE THEY ARE ALL NICE AND CLEAN! THEY LOOK DINGY AND GROSS! WORST PLACE EVER! IT'S ALSO A DIRTY LOOKING PLACE THAT LITERALLY MAKES YOU FEEL AS IF YOU NEED A SHOWER RIGHT AFTER COMING OUT OF THERE! SORRY, TO SAY ALL THIS BUT SERIOUSLY, I AM NOT A PICKY PERSON BUT AFTER THAT EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! IF I COULD GIVE IT A ZERO STAR I WOULD! Worst Business EVER! – Billy Bob has to be the worst place you could go to for anything. And their owner/manager has to be the most unprofessional, rudest and disrepsectful owner/manager I have ever come across as a customer. I have a family member who is active duty military service who was treated aboslutely horribly. This store doesn't deserve any patronage from anyone in San Antonio. Please take your business and your money elsewhere, you'll be doing us all a favor.
very satisfied customer!! – i went to buy a mattress at mattress firm for $1299.00 but a friend recommend i shop at billy bobs beds. im new to town and never heard of billy bobs. we let me tell you, i found a luxury eurotop with memory foam for $499.00. thats less than half the price of mattress firm. im very satisfied with my mattress and my salesman richard was very helpful and very knowledgable in all my questions. im glad i went to billy bobs beds not only did i save a fortune but i got excellent customer service.
DON'T BUY FROM THESE THIEVES – MADE A PURCHASE AND WHEN I WENT TO RETURN ONE OF THE ITEMS I WAS TOLD ABOUT THE NON RETURN POLICY AND THAT IT IS ON THE BOTTOM OF RECIEPT THAT YOU RECEIVE AFTER THE PURCHASE. THERE ARE NO SIGNS REGARDING A NO RETURN POLICY AND THEY DON'T TELL YOU THIS VERBALLY UNLESS YOU TRY AND RETURN AN ITEM.
SELL THE ITEMS AND NEVER TAKE A RETURN BACK IS A BAD POLICY. BILLY BOBS SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM AGAIN AND PLAN ON TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS POLICY.
WORST PLACE EVER! JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY! – DO NOT GO THERE! KISS YOUR MONEY GOODBYE! bought a $2500 california king sized bed and had to pay for $80 delivery. only one frail elder man showed up to bring mattress & 2 box springs to 2nd story apt. husband had to help him. 2 days later i needed to exchange it becuz it hurt my back; was told i couldnt get money back but could exchange it. had to exchange 'whole' set, not just get firm mattress but in same style. compromised with manager that we wouldnt pay delivery again, since we werent satisfied w/bed and husband had basically brought the 1st delivery up himself. next day, got to store and billy bob was there. not a good situation. said we were lucky he was letting us exchange it and he was charging us again for delivery. told us it was very 'christian' of us to have helped the other delivery man, but that wasnt his problem. everytime i agreed with him, he kept raising the delivery charge. told him i was reporting him to better business organization. in the end, we had to pay for delivery again., $80 as prior, what a joke! the store is all about getting your money, NOT CARING OF CUSTOMERS! i called around to 3 major bed dealers and asked about their 'bed trial' time frame. all 3 stated 30 day trial and full refund or new bed if you dont like it. even major department store has the same poilicy. billy bob's DOES NOT offer such a policy, becuz it is about getting your money! once you throw down that $2500, like we did, it's gone and now stuck with a bed that i would have prefered to spend elsewhere. the sales guys are pretty decent, but it is what the master says, goes! they dont have any power to make deals, so dont get enticed by the 'specials'. you will regret it!
Worst customer service EVER. Cheap price = Cheap Quality! You don't get what is advertised!!! – On 10 Feb 2008, my wife and I went into Billy Bob's with the intent to purchase new bed sets for our family. We had just received our tax return and was ready to purchase 5 new beds. My 4 children were also with us as well. While we were looking at the "More expensive" mattresses, one of my kids had their hand on the mattress just to test the softness. They were not on the beds in any way, simply had their hand on the bed. All of a sudden a man wearing all black and sunglasses "Billy" stood up from behind a desk and yelled at the salesman named Richard and pointed towards our family. At that time, Richard came and told me to keep our kids off the beds. I then told him that my kids were not on the bed at all. Then the man that had yelled at Richard started arguing with us, which at that time, we decided to take our business elsewhere. As we walked out he told my wife that if we chose to purchase a bed, then he would have his loading guy wipe his nose on our mattress prior to loading them into our car. After my wife told me about the comment, I went back inside and asked for the manager. The same guy stood up and said "Look, if you want your damn kids to touch the mattress, buy the damn thing first!" When I started to tell him that we had intended to buy a mattress, he interrupted saying "Oh cry me a damn river with your sob a$$ story" At that point, I told him that he obviously didn't care about making any sale of any type to anyone. This type of attitude towards customers is clear throughout various reviews that are listed on the internet. This owner (Billy), obviously has never had any kids and does not know how to run a business. After we left, I went and spent $5200.00 on new mattress sets at another company that DESERVES my business. Don't take my word for it, do your own research on the Internet and read the reviews from other people. As the subject says, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!
