Simple sushi spot on the Sunset Strip. Lunch specials are a good value. Best bet is the one where you choose one each from column a and b, plus soup, salad and rice. Small "secret" patio in back

Ta-ke Sushi has the best Vegetable Tempura! – I also tried and loved their Miso soup, Salmon Skin Salad and Avocado, Cucumber & Cream Cheese roll. I like their service too because the owner seemed to be genuinely concerned with us liking their food.

Ta-Ke – Great food and soup..im a fan. They have better soup than club sushi but i'd give Club Sushi the edge on the food!

Best Sushi – I have found it really hard to find a Sushi place that has just right ginger salad dressing plus good sushi! I have eaten at Take about 5 times in the past 2 weeks its that good!

Great place for Lunch – Great lunch specials! There salmon terryaki and various lunch special combintations are a great deal. If you work around the area, you should definitly check it out. This establishment wreaks of "mom and pops" type of a place!

Sunset Strip sushi joint offers fresh fish and friendly service to local lunchers and nighttime revelers. – Walk past the hanging bamboo beads at the entrance of this little dive and you might feel as though you've just stepped into a local sushi haunt in the middle of Tokyo. Hanging box lights, a bamboo-slat ceiling, obligatory hanging blowfish ornaments, a samurai sword and assorted Japanese artifacts--not to mention the husband-and-wife owners straight from Japan--create the authentic vibe. But lest you forget you're in the middle of Hollywood, the young music types and tattooed roadies at the sushi bar (from next-door Viper Room), as well as the oddly cool music wafting in from the speakers (it can be the entire Smiths catalogue one day and Neil Diamond's best-of the next night) befits the quirky environs. Service is slow--especially during the weekday lunch rush--but always friendly, and menu options cover all the basics as well as a few house specialties like the fried shrimp with cornflakes. And there's about 20 different sakes to wash it all down.

Combos provide plenty of food at reasonable prices – Visitors on the Sunset Strip snack on sushi, tempura, teriyaki and other traditional Japanese cuisine at the bar inside this tiny, wood-paneled dining room. In addition to the regular menu, a handful of combo specials are also offered on average for under $10, featuring various combinations of sushi, tempura, salads and noodles. Most combos also come with miso soup. The staff was very helpful with letting the vegetarian members of our party create a combo that fit with their dietary needs. For me, the spicy tuna rolls were the highlight of my meal. The fish didn?t taste overly mushy and had an interesting tangy, pickle-like flavor. The restaurant has a room in the back as well as upstairs for larger parties. However, as this place is rather short on space, I?d say meals here are really meant for a party of two if you want to eat comfortably and get your food in a timely manner.

Very good sushi, salads and soups – The menu offers reasonable priced sushi combo plates, nicely decorated and freshly prepared. Choose a combo and get a wide variety of Asian specialties served on a tray. The combos include diverse spicy soups, eclectic fish salads, traditional sushi rolls (tuna, salmon, shrimp, crab meat) shrimps, crab meat, veggie and shrimp tempura and rice alongside. This healthy food makes you happy, healthy and you keep your shape.
