I have called this florist several times and each time they have "delivered". The arrangements always elicit positive responses and notes of appreciation. The arrangements are inventive and sophisticated and the flowers are perfect.
The Empty Vase has any kind of flower you could want (we're partial to their tulips and hydrangea). The ultra friendly staff will work with you for one-of-a-kind arrangements.
Holly, you are amazing! We are thrilled with the3rd(!?) arrangement you sent and we will definitely contact you again when we are ready to splurge, which will be very soon. We are grateful to all the care you take with your customers and we are looking forward to a great relationship with you! Thank You!
I went to the Empty Vase while bopping around town buying random gifts for work people and fell in love! I saw such unique, creative, beautiful, playful arrangements that I literally gasped when I walked in, and when I got back to work, immediately emailed anyone likely to buy me flowers and told them this was the only place to go (anyone likely to buy me flowers knows how picky I am!!!). I live in SF now and there's not a lot I miss about LA - Take, Asanebo, Jones, BLD and Empty Vase are really the only things that I have not been able to replace. I am currently on the look out for an amazing florist in SF, but I'm not holding out hope that any place can top the uniqueness of Empty Vase.
Yvonne at The Empty Vase is AMAZING. She is my floral guru. She was SO easy to work with, SO wonderful about incorporating exactly what I wanted to have in the different arrangements. She even provided a mock-up of what my centerpieces would look like to make sure that I would be happy with them. We reworked them, going into the shop together to pick out flowers that I wanted to include. Yvonne also worked within our budget, something florists of this calibre might laugh at or ignore altogether. I felt I could trust her completely. The flowers were amazing - and some are still alive in vases two and a half weeks after our wedding! Go to Empty Vase! Our wedding was gorgeous!
I was devastated when my favorite florist closed. This is the best florist after them that I have been lucky to find. The arrangements are amazing. When you call them & tell them about the person, what colors they like, what the decor might be in their home it's like they know them & send the very best they have. You will not be disappointed with their arrangements & customer service. A great find!
After several disappointing interviews with florists, I figured I would try one of my venue's recommended vendors. While I thought that Empty Vase would likely be too expensive, I figured I'd use the information obtained there to gage other florists. However, after meeting with Yvonne, I knew that going with Empty Vase was a no brainer. Yvonne is perceptive and quickly understood my vision. She made great suggestions on ways to decorate the room that still were within budget. In addition to being a genius with flowers, Yvonne is also very kind. I thought that a high end florist like Empty Vase might turn up their nose at the fact that I was not spending $10K+ on flowers. This was not the case at all.
The flowers the day of the event were even more beautiful than I could have dreamed of. They were truly one of the major highlights of the day for me. Everything from the centerpieces to the bouquets were stunning and full of lush, fragrant flowers.
I cannot say enough good things about Empty Vase. If you're looking for wedding flower perfection, you have to pay Yvonne a visit. Now to getting my husband to get me Empty Vase flowers on a regular basis....
I usually order flower arrangements for clients from here and they do a fantastic job. Carmella and Melody are very nice and they will help you find anything you're looking for. If you don't know what you're looking for they have great taste figuring out what a person would like too! Definitely try them out. They're great!
For the most beautiful flower arrangements in town, the Empty Vase is the only place to go. I have used the Empty Vase over the past 20 years. No request is too big or too small for this unique flower shop. I frequent the store when I need to send flowers to someone for their birthday or as a thank you. But I also use them for when I have small dinner parties in my home or the celebration of a big birthday at a venue. The Empty Vase masters the art of flower arrangements and there is no one else in the business that even comes close in comparison.
When my friends got engaged this week I immediately ran over to The Empty Vase. While I waited for them to prepare a fabulous flower arrangement, I found an amazing coffee table book by Martha Stewart that was all about wedding cakes! This book was the perfect addition for the newly engaged couple and needless to say, the recipients were very happy.
Some of my favorite flower arrangements are:
Winter Sleek Roses
The White Dawn
Passion in Pink
Pansies in White
Aside from the spectacular array of flower arrangements, The Empty Vase carries books, candles chocolates, bath products, stuffed animals, holiday decorations, chandeliers, furniture and antiques.
