Southwest cuisine in a hundred year-old building, Wildfire makes for a classy little date night. A few of the dish titles are over the top ("Pools of Broth," "Flame Kissed Agave Chicken Breast") but the food delivers, especially the desserts: The smoky Oak-Toasted S'mores alone make the drive out there worth it.
Historic building, lovely atmosphere – This place had a lovely ambiance and creative food, though somewhat overpriced. The server was pleasant but wasn't able to answer any of our questions about the entrees. The music was a bit loud and distracted from the overall intimate, charming atmosphere. All the food was extremely rich, though nicely prepared and tasty.
Cozy on the Square – I took the advice of a local business to try the Southwestern Caesar Chicken Salad. Yum! Wildfire is the nicest restaurant on the square, non-pretentious. Since it is a fine dining venue, the prices are higher, but the taste is fabulous. You should try it out.
