Downtown Library – It's too crowded - you'll have to sit next to rude, dangerous parolees and mentally ill panhandlers screaming in your ear. The librarians chat too loud and create a bad learning environment. The guards bully customers. The janitors don't clean anything. The books are too old with pages ripped out. The computers are obsolete and the waiting list too long. Gays will follow you into the restroom to peep. I've seen better libraries in other states.
Good luck at this place... – You'll have to sit next to dangerous mentally ill or paroled homeless people screaming in your ear.
The staff doesn't work and wastes taxpayer dollars. They chat loudly and it bothers the customers.
I witnessed the guards bullying the customers.
The bathrooms were dirtier than the ones at a cheap gas station.
The books are too outdated with pages torn out.
It's hard to find something good to say about it except that you can get an internet fix when you're downtown, and they give away free food at Wooly's park - a block north.
I've found better spots to get online around town.
