Horrible rude service (29th location). Our company ordered a large cake and a dozen cookies yesterday and went to pick them up today. They couldn't find our order, then gave us the small cake. We took that back and they exchanged it (they didn't charge us the extra, thankfully - one of the few redeeming actions). However, because it's a company credit card, we have to turn in certain documentation to the business office and they failed to give us a credit card receipt. When we returned for the third time, the cashier said "ugh, I don't understand why you need this," and acted like we were the biggest inconvenience possible. We've never had a problem with the Red River location but I can guarantee you we will not be using them again.

Better than Red River location. Have been to south location as well as Red River. This location offers more choices regarding breads and the salads are better at this location. This location was the first in which I tried the pimento cheese. It is consistently good at this location, the Red River one varies at times. The fruit salad is nice at both locations, but the green salad is better at this location. There are less flies in the south Austin location. The staff was more courteous and looked more professional in appearance than those at Red River. The people watching is good because of its location. Parking is still less than ideal as one has to park on the street most of the time, but on weekends, have never had trouble finding a spot. Great lemonade at this location.

Dirty & Overpriced. Rude staff, dirty environment, overpriced, not worth your time or energy. For a tasty bakery try Upper Crust instead.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. A little French patesserie, a little Central Texas bakery, but known for its veggie-friendly menu of sandwiches and salads.
