Watch and clock repair – Jacobs lied and stole my money! My 1974 carrera clock was inaccurate. It was sent to a german watch repair. After taking my money being very RUDE! informed me I was inept on clock installation! The clock has 2 wires +, - and a bulb clearly marked. The watch was sent 2 time both times returned not working. They do not stand behind there work. I would give it a minus 10! THIS IS A WARNING!
Bad Service and Expensive, Don't Go – I would put zero stars if I could. DO not give them any business. I am sure that their business practices are improper, to say the least. They bullied me into paying an inflated amount for a repair that I did not agree to, and they were totally disrespectful.
My most recent experience actually left me shaken. Two men seem to work here. One of them did this repair and he was pretty normal, but the other man was aggressive and almost threatening.
When I brought the bracelet in, he said that his partner would solder it for 15-20 dollars. I thought that was steep, but the place is a mom and pop, and the bracelet was a gift, so what the heck...
When I came back the first guy gave me my bracelet, and it was not soldered but held together with wire.
I said something like, "Oh, so you didn't solder it." and the guy said something short in reply. I asked how much I owed them for this, and the guy, who was directly across the counter form me, said 20 dollars, even more unfriendly. I was surprised, I admit and I said, "20 dollars?!" and his reaction was quite immediate. He said, "Yeah, 20 dollars, DO YOU WANT TO PAY MORE?"
It was like that, aggressive, and he stared right into my eyes really intensely. I mean, WHAT...? I am a plucky, petite 5'0'' little Indian girl. I have never been spoken to that way, let alone as a customer. I do not incite people aggression typically!
I said, "But that was for the soldering..." and he insisted. His next move was to walk around behind me to the doorway and start up a conversation with a friend. No further explanation, no assumption at all that as a customer I had any right to know how my property has being treated, etc. etc. Not only did they NOT do the repair we had discussed, it almost felt like they were extorting the payment from me! I still can scarcely believe I was being treated with hostility this way, verbally and physically
