Reviews for Jim's Restaurant

Now this...THIS is a diner. Not a hipster "dive," not a "throwback," but an honest-to-goodness, vet-filled, Buddy Holly non-ironically playing-on-the-radio, just-got-rid-of-its-smoking-section-yesterday DINER. And diner's just do pies the best, don't they? I like the Coconut Cream Pie, with toasted coconut flakes sprinkled on top and a filling so soft, I'll still be able to gum it when I'm 90.

Good food, good service – My husband and I eat breakfast there one day of the weekend. Don't let the crowds scare you off! They move a lot of people through there. The food is consistently good. The service is good.

Down-home, Texas-style food served in a comforting diner setting. – In Short
Texas home-style meals in a comfortable modern diner makes Jim's a good bet anytime. They serves breakfast (all day, every day), lunch and dinner. Breakfast choices include hearty American breakfast foods--eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage--or breakfast tacos. Entrees include such perennial favorites as chicken fried steak, pork chops, chopped steak, catfish, chicken fingers, steak, liver and onions, and Tex-Mex specialties. For a lighter meal, Jim's serves salads, burgers and sandwiches.
