Maybe stupidest server ever encountered – Ordered country fried steak - got country fried chicken
Ordered Steakhouse vinaigrette - got ranch
Food took 40 minutes, for a salad and country fried chicken on a Monday
Server never asked us if we wanted anything for thirty minutes after we ordered
Server shorted himself money on the bill
What should I expect though?
A Southwestern chain serving tender steaks in a bustling, family-style eatery. – In Short
Dark wood accents, a Western motif and a large fireplace decorate the bustling, sprawling restaurant. Decibel levels manage to remain quiet enough for conversation. Texas onion strings features tangy and spicy pale-pink dipping sauce combining liquid smoke, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. The succulent signature pepper-smoked sirloin lives up to its reputation with its well-absorbed flavor. Jack Daniels pie is strong, chunky and topped with vanilla ice cream.
Solid Performance, Nothing Spectacular – I like this place. Today was the first time I went for lunch and was surprised by how many others shared my idea. The hostess stand was pretty unorganized and there wasn't even someone manning it for a couple minutes when I first walked in, but overall the service here is good. The food comes out a bit quick, within minutes of our appetizer, so we did feel a bit rushed. Overall though it's a great place to eat, and you can get a very good lunch very fast.
eah It's OK – Went for Prime rib, but they dont serve it. already a disapointment. maybe I'm biased because they did ot have what I was craving at the time. After that not will measure up..
great night out! – Good steaks for the money. On a recent visit, they did a really nice job with our group of 8. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation and our server was just as attentive with us as if we had been a party of 2. They even offered to split our bill without hesitation.
The grilled trout and silver spur are my favorite choices, along with the steak nachos appetizer.
