Horrible! – I had a bad experience here last year but I was in the mall last week and desperately need to get my nails done. So I went back to get a full set acrylic. The receptionist was very nice and offered me something to drink.
There was 5 employees just sitting around on the pedicure spa chairs. They were speaking very loudly, eating, on their laptops, and watching TV. So when the receptionist told one of the employees that I was wanting a service. No one moved.. they looked at each other and started speaking very loudly at one another in Vietnamese and then the guy stood up, didn't look at me, and went to the station to get out his supplies. Once he got out his supplies he didn't get up or greet me,he tapped the table with the nail polish indicating for me to come over.
Once I was in his chair, I tried to make small talk to offset the awkwardness but I soon realized that was a bad idea because he just ignored me.
Sitting there I was looking around and a lot of their supplies were not sanitized. Their implements were not in their proper containers, some were laying out on the tables and they had nail dust and what looked like dead cuticle skin all over them and the table. I asked the guy about it he didn't reply. He just pulled my hand closer to him and continued to work.
I am a Cosmetology educator so I know a thing or two about nails and the TDLR sanitation laws. The guy took 4 hours on my nails. He kept reapplying the acrylic numerous times and drilled my fingernails raw. I had a few cuts on my fingers and he also left my nails ( bumpy) because he didn't buff my acrylic before applying the polish and just painted over them 6 times to make them appear smooth. I was tired and my nails were sore from all the drilling. I just paid and left. A day later, yellow/green dots started to appear on my nails. Right away I went to another nail shop to get them removed and reapplied. I will never go back!!!!!!!! I will also write TDLR about this nail salon.
awesome place – they had the best service ever people who have negative coments about la mour nails are just stupid
not happy at ALL – i'll just say i will never go back to this place again!
there is no customer service even the manager there is rude! i got the nasties nail job ever, even my husband says its not pro. "it lookes like you did your nails when you were in 3rd grade". there to long uneven extremly thin one cracked in its the 3rd day i'v had them.
DO NOT GET WHITE TIPS – I cannot say this is true of everyone who works there, but I had a horrible experience with the lady who did nail. I had white tips done there. The acrylic layer on top was unbelievably thick and uneven. I am not a picky customer, but when you see big drops of acryl on your palm and back of your hand on the way home, you know the person is not skilled. I had to take those tings off of my hand on the way home. Plus, she did not even completely removed the previous nail polish. So, I could see the red residues here and there after the white tips were put on top of it. Argh. I am not going there again. She kept saying she was sorry, and I was nice about it. I am not complaining about her attitude. I had to remove them in a week. Very ugly.
Absolutely fabulous – I went to L'Amour nails not knowing what to expect but my manicurist Jennifer was great. She did a fantastic job and the prices are extremely reasonable.
