I have been working with Dahill for a few years now. Their service team is unbelievable! We had a problem with one of their machines and after a few attempts to fix it, they just swopped it out for a new machine. Great customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
Worst Technical Staff Ever – I'd give this company -5 stars if I could. This company has the most inept technical staff I've ever had the displeasure to work with - and when I say work, I mean I did the work while they kept disappearing, failed to show up for scheduled meetings, and made excuses such as blaming the sales people for their own incompetence. Use anyone else - but run from this company.
Beware of financing scam! – I predict that this company will not be around long. We are currently leasing a Xerox machine that is slow and has continuous problems. I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The service is terrible because the problem is never really fixed. Not only that, but the company was able to make a financial agreement through wells fargo on the leasing of the equipment whereby we make payments that go up over time for 5 years. This is an agreement that cannot be broken even though the service is awful. The cost of the machine is about $2500 and I calculate the payments and terrible service to be about 12k over 60 months. We could have bought several machines for this price and used them as backup. This is a ripoff! Of course my husband had no time to read the details of the agreement as one of his employees shoved the papers in front of him between patients. Many doctors get taken advantage of by crooked companies this way. This is a lesson learned to pay attention to what you sign. In the mean time, I will let as many people know what kind of company they are dealing with when it comes to the dahill ripoff scam.
Poor service, most expensive in Austin – My copiers were broke down most of four months. I have mid /high volume copiers and depend on them for the very heart of my business. The technician couldn't and didn't have the skills to fix ANY of the copiers leaving us high and dry. Dahill refused any loaner machines. I found out through the process that the technicians are only ALLOWED to use $12-16 average for parts usage to fix copiers in their area. They get fired if they go over the parts cost. They refused to buy a $60 fuser unit to fix my one machine. The called me crazy and a liar and denied the issues.
I DON'T recommend them to anyone. Would you intrust such an investment to a company knowing that the technicians are PAID to NOT BUY or USE parts to fix a machine??? I am going elsewhere with my business. There are numerous competitors that have a written contract for loaners, are cheaper, and less response time. Shop around. This isn't the same Dahill that we did business with in 2003 when it got sold to Global Imaging.
Dahill-Best in town! – I have used Lanier, Xerox and Ikon-also some from APS and Documation. They are all not even close. The service is excellent and they only sell quality. Don't get cheap crap! Get w/ dahill-decent prices on quality stuff. Their service is light years ahead of the rest!
