I've tried the big national flower shops and always been disappointed. Freytags has always done a spectacular job and if anything went wrong (which it never has) I know they'd make it right. Their flowers are always beautiful but more than that they last. I've learned my lesson I will never buy flowers from anyone else ever again.

I'm not sure about you, but every time I have ordered from another flower shop I was not happy with the outcome. I always use Freytag's for local and out of town. They give me the comort of knowing that the product I send will be as good as the picture, on time, and at a good price.

Ordered Flowers over phone, site unseen. – I ordered flowers for my sisters birthday, over the phone without seeing what I was ordering. Sean assured me that they would put together a beautiful bouquet and deliver it as ordered. My sister just called and exclaimed how beautiful the arrrangement was and how happy it made her. Thank you Freytag Florist, I will definately be a return phone customer.

Freytags doesn't seem to care anymore - use someone else – Freytags used to be a great florist - but they don't seem to care anymore.

I got an arrangement of orchids on the 12th which immediately began drying up to a crispy bouquet.

When I called them on the 16th & informed them of the situation, the phone rep agreed with me that orchid blooms should continue to open & orchids were one of the most long life cut flowers.. The phone rep indicated they couldn't do onything , but their manager would call me back immediately to make good on the situation.

The call back never happened.

Their website of course has all online "Contact Us" links disabled or requiring multi-select fields which never drop down & block you from even finding an email address.

It is too bad that my friends spent money on a gift for me that has been more grief than gift (I sure hope they never realise this review is from me - but I hope to protect others from the downgrade in service that has infected Freytags).

I truly apologize for this mistake. We will work hard in the future to see this does not happen again. I called the sender & let them know about the mistake we made & refunded their money. I will also be sending you an upgraded apology bouquet. I know this should have been done when you originally called in & I am sorry it has taken so long to do so. Beautiful GreatFlowers – I received one of your arrangements for my birthday. My friend from Brownsville sent them to me. They were so beautiful and fragrant. They last 2 weeks!!! I am impressed. She and I were both extremely please.

Great Florist in Austin, TX – I recently had an arrangement delivered by Freytag's Florist. I was completely satisfied with the service. The representative on the phone was helpful and pleasant. The arrangement was delivered promptly and the recipient loved it. This was my first order placed with Freytag's, but I will definitely use them again.

Great arrangements customer service!! – I have ordered arrangements from Freytags in the past and they have always been great. This past Valentine's Day there were a couple of mistakes on the arrangement I ordered but, Freytag's went out of their way to correct it. First of all, they gave me a full credit!! Secondly, they resent my wife a whole new arrangement and, they included extras I did not order the first time. My wife loved it!! Freytag's is the best!!

Freytag's is consistently best in town for a reason – As a life-long resident of Austin, you get to know a few people, the local shops, and what they have to offer you. Over the years, I've dealt with basically all the florists in Austin for one reason or another, and have always made Freytag's my personal top choice. They always have great floral ideas, a very helpful and courteous staff, and are easy to get in touch with. When you get your arrangement delivered, the delivery guys are prompt and cordial, and the flowers couldnt look fresher. It looks like they were just cut and arranged before getting to the door!

Now Freytag's has greatly expanded the various things they can deliver, making your options seem unlimited. Something else I really like is when you call in, sometimes you randomly get one of the Freytags themselves on the phone. That shows their attention to, and involvement in, what gets out to the public. A rarity these days, it would seem.

After 25 years of dealing with Freytag's Florist, I can honestly say that they are the best, most consistent florist in Austin.

Worst customer service ever from Austin's Freytag Florist in Austin – I will never use these people again. The flowers were wilted with broken stems and the delivery person was an hour late on the delivery after calling to say she would be at my home in five minutes. Speaking with the owner, Ken Freytag was very upsetting. I don't understand how these people have any business based on the attitude of the owner.

I do not recall talking to anyone about this. If I would have I would have replaced the flowers immediately. I also have not had a female driver in quite some time,our drivers have 2 way radios not phones, and we do not call before delivery as we do not want to ruin the surprise. I'm not sure how a female driver would have contacted you since we don't have one. I have been in business for over 35 years and this is not how I operate personally or my business.
